Family is complicated. An AI that knows who is who.

Family problems are hard to talk about because they come with years of history that takes an hour to explain. superemotion remembers the people in your family, how they relate to each other and what happened last time, so each conversation can start where the last one ended. It notices patterns, such as the third cancellation this month, and it does not take sides.

Why family is hard to talk about

When you tell a friend about your mother, you are also telling them about your father, your brother's divorce, and the thing that happened at Christmas in 2019. Without that, the story does not make sense, and retelling it every time is exhausting.

There is also loyalty. Many people do not want to complain about family to friends who will see them at the wedding. Talking it through somewhere private first can make the real conversation easier.

How superemotion keeps track of your family

You never fill in a family tree. When you mention that your sister moved to Berlin or that your dad has a hospital appointment on the 14th, superemotion records it after the reply, as people, places, events and the links between them, each with a date.

When someone comes up again, it brings back at most three relevant facts. So it can ask how the appointment went, or point out that this is the second time your brother has done this since the summer.

Patterns, not verdicts

The most useful thing an outside view can do in a family conflict is notice patterns. It is easier to see that the same argument happens every time a certain topic comes up when someone else points it out.

superemotion will say what it notices and give a view when you ask for one. It will not tell you that your family is toxic or that you are always right. That is not what someone who was paying attention would say.

Your family's details stay private

Everything superemotion remembers, including names and details about the people in your life, is encrypted with AES-256 under a key for your account before it is stored, and conversations are never used to train AI models.

Questions

Can an AI help with family problems?
It can help you think them through: what happened, what keeps happening and what you want to say. It cannot fix the relationship for you, and for serious conflict or abuse, a counsellor or a support service is the right place to go.
Does superemotion remember the people in my family?
Yes. It remembers the people you mention, how they are connected to you and to each other, and what happened with them, across every conversation.
Will it take my side?
It is on your side in the sense that it is there for you, but it will not agree with everything. It is built to say what it honestly notices.

In short

superemotion (also written SuperEmotion) is an emotional AI you talk to in your web browser: an emotionally intelligent AI that remembers the people, places and moments in your life across every conversation. It keeps a private, encrypted memory graph instead of a transcript, reads how each message feels before it answers, and replies directly, without therapy-speak or reflexive validation. It is free during early access.
