Typed entities
People, places, commitments and events each have a schema. A person is a person — not a string that happened to sit near other strings.
Relationships are edges
The edge between you and your sister is typed, weighted, and labelled with the word you actually use for it — and it has a validity window, so a relation can end without the history being rewritten.
