Where Pi is strong
Pi is warm, patient and good at voice conversation, and it is free. It never framed itself as a companion or partner, which many people prefer. It lets you export your conversations and opt out of model training.
Where superemotion is different
superemotion is built around structured memory of your life. When you mention your sister's move or your dad's appointment, it records people, places and events with dates, and brings back the few that matter the next time they come up. You can see and edit that memory in the app.
It also takes a firmer line on data. Every message and remembered fact is encrypted with AES-256 under a per-account key before storage, and conversations are never used to train models. There is no setting to find.
And it is direct. It reads what you want back, keeps replies short and avoids therapy-speak, which some people find a relief after very gentle assistants.
